The cost of materials keeps going up. Artists are in the best position to know how their materials need to perform. So when they design them for their own needs, you can bet they are of the finest materials and perform in very special ways.

Dispersions can be bought in 2oz bottles for between 10.50 and 16.50 or a kit of 7 colors + gum Arabic in 15ml bottles for 39.95 or 17 colors + Arabic for 79.95(that is less than $5 per color that will allow you to make: watercolor, gouache, tempera, egg-tempera, wood-stains, air brush color, textile paints, egg-oil emulsions for oil paint, print making inks etc.)

Gum Arabic sells for approximately $8, for 2.5oz as a brand name/ you can put together about 10oz with a 1/4lb of the (non-toxic) powder for $5.20 and have more powder for almost as much?or purchase a 2oz bottle for $3.75.
